Hire Terms

Identification

On the day of collection, you will need the following documents.

2 X Utility Bills (dated within the last 3 months) for the hirer, if you have hired before just need 1 Bill (can be shown on your phone) Credit/Debit Card in the hirer's name (if pre-paid you will need the same card) American Express not accepted or Pre-paid Cards.

Driving Licence

Car drivers: - lower age is 23 or over upper age 75 or under - drivers need to have held a full UK licence for 2 years or more. Please also call if your licence has expired or if your address is incorrect.

NON-UK licence holders must have held their licence for a minimum of 5 years, be 25 years or older. Please check if you require an International Drivers Permit as these can only be issued in the country your license was issued. Ages 74+ please call 020 8647 0001 for clarification.

7,9 & 15/17 seaters a minimum of 5 years driving experience is required and aged 25 or over. 15/17 seaters require a D1 Category. Please call for clarification if your licence has expired or if your address is incorrect.

To avoid any disappointments on collection, please advise us of any criminal convictions and on your licence. Please advise if you have any points, endorsements, or disqualifications on your licence, going back 5 years from date of conviction (these may be important, even if they have expired). No refunds will be given if the rental cannot go ahead due to non-disclosure.

Damage Excess

Your liability while the vehicle is out on hire to you is £750 this is your credit/debit card details only NO MONEY IS TAKEN OFF YOUR CARD - If you wish you can pay a waiver to reduce your liability (when booking please ask for details)

NON-UK licence holders your liability while the vehicle is out on hire to you is £1000, no waiver is available.

Breakdown Cover

Breakdown cover is included in the hire cost and the breakdown number is printed on your rental agreement, however, should you need to use this service and the breakdown is due to human error then you will be charged for the call out which is £85 + Vat.

Fuel

When you collect your vehicle, you sign for X amount of fuel highlighted on your vehicle checkout sheet – the vehicle is expected to be returned with the same amount. Please do not overfill it as we do not offer refunds.

Valeting Fee

We cannot allow pets in our vehicles due to possible allergies from other customers. Any stains or spillage in the vehicles will incur the valeting fee £60.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles. If your vehicle is returned smelling of smoke or ash residue you will be charged a valeting fee as above.

Late Returns

Your return date and time are clearly marked on your rental agreement and a member of staff will confirm this with you, if you return the vehicle after this time then a late fee will apply, minimum charge is £30.

Penalty Charges

Your signature in box 46 on our rental agreement is your authorization that an administration fee of £50 will be payable for any penalty charge we have to represent (terms & condition 4.0 section D), this is in addition to any fees charged to us by lease companies. Payment will be taken from the Credit/Debit card registered to the hire agreement. Account customers will be invoiced the Fee.
